This image of Boston, Massachusetts, was captured by the Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper satellite on October 13, 2000 (path 12, row 31). The visible red, green, and blue wavelengths are set to red, green and blue, so urban areas appear white, vegetation appears green, and water appears blue.
